The Chippendale style desk with mahogany case features a rectangular top above a slant lid, opening to a desk interior with drawers, dividers, and a central prospect door. The writing surface extends over four serpentine drawers. The fronts are fitted with brass-toned handles and batwing backplates and the desk rises on ball-and-claw feet. This walnut side chair features a lyre back over a trapizoidal seat with needlepoint upholstery, and rising on saber legs with an H stretcher. No. 103 Bristol Green and Garrison is stenciled on bottom. Both are in good vintage condition with scratches and markings to the desk, especially on the feet. The desk measures 33.0" W x 41.0" H x 18.0" D, the chair 16.5" W x 32.5" H x 19.5".
